2D or 3D you decide! An evening of creation

One of the things I love about Process Art is that with the same set of materials, and the same set of instructions you will end up with widely varied works of art. This evening, participating artists were given a challenge to create using little geometric pieces of art mat, pipe cleaners, feathers, raffia, scrap paper, and foam core. It was delightful to see the variety of things that resulted from this mish-mash of materials.

I couldn't have asked for a better group to share this time with. We enjoyed the space and the camaraderie. We laughed, we learned how to play with hot glue. We were surprised at what came out of the process. We all learned something new about ourselves.

Finally, I want to give a shout out to Hangin' Custom Framing Shop in Hillsboro, who saved form me scrap framing mats, and foam core so we do this project. I've done lots of framing at this shop and they have always done a great job.
