Abrazos! Hugs!

Life has a way opening doors when you least expect, and if you are willing to shift, you can walk into some wonderful new situations. This was certainly what happened to me after the third process art night. The counselors from Abrazos, liked the class so much, they wanted to offer it. They asked if they could use my materials. I upped the ante and offered to teach the class!

There was however a problem. The only available night was after Petra and I were supposed to be in Lima. This is where the willing to adjust comes in. With herculean patience, Monica's son helped us navigate the airlines and get our flights shifted so that I could teach the class! I was so excited to get to share process art with the parents of the children Abrazos supports. I left with such a full heart! Thanks to Abrazos for letting me share this wonderful process!

La vida tiene una manera de abrir puertas cuando menos lo esperas, y si estás dispuesto a cambiar, puedes entrar en situaciones nuevas y maravillosas. Esto fue ciertamente lo que me pasó después de la tercera noche de arte de proceso. A los consejeros de Abrazos les gustó tanto la clase que quisieron ofrecerla. Me preguntaron si podían usar mis materiales. ¡Subí la apuesta y me ofrecí a enseñar la clase! Sin embargo, había un problema. La única noche disponible era después de que Petra y yo estuviéramos en Lima. Aquí es donde entra en juego la voluntad de adaptarse. Con una paciencia hercúlea, el hijo de Mónica nos ayudó a navegar por las aerolíneas y a cambiar nuestros vuelos para que yo pudiera enseñar la clase. Estaba tan emocionada de poder compartir el arte de proceso con los padres de los niños que apoya Abrazos. ¡Me fui con el corazón lleno! ¡Gracias a Abrazos por permitirme compartir este maravilloso proceso!
